Some good ideas on here, my children's stockings have a mix of stuff they need along with some fun things. I also put some charity shop finds in to keep the cost down (books, top trumps etc). Other ideas I had: gloves/hat/scarf and a decoration for the tree.0

For daughters stocking she will get:
Chocolate Santa
Book
Satsuma
Walnuts
Fancy erasers
Christmas socks
Christmas hair accessory
The book in the stocking is a tradition from my childhood. We were allowed to open our stockings when we woke up, as long as it wasn't before 6am, and we weren't allowed to wake our parents till 7am, so the book was to give us something to keep us quiet for an hour.Zebras rock0 -
