Definitely the lego mini figures - they have fun guessing which one they will get, popping candy, fun snaps, little cap/potato gun,
Pass The Pigs or slim game, Pez dispenser, Pencil Case, small car. any other small lego or playmobile figure (great if it can be a xmas themed one).Shower gel,

We also give new money at bottom, orange, apple, chocolate orange.
  • In case anyone else is interested I got juggling balls in home bargains yesterday - 99p for a box of three. I also got some mars hot choc that can be used to make hot choc or milkshakes, tiny gingerbread houses, a dvd each, incredible hulk shampoo for DS2 (DS1 is allergic to soaps and stuff).

I already had a small lego kit for each of them and I will get choc coins for both, haribos for DS1 & marshmallows for DS2. I got socks for one of them and will get socks for the other one too....

I still buy my `kids` chocolate coins and a selection box each, even though they are in their twenties and have left home. They would be outraged if I didn`t!:rotfl:
  • Some good ideas on here, my children's stockings have a mix of stuff they need along with some fun things. I also put some charity shop finds in to keep the cost down (books, top trumps etc). Other ideas I had: gloves/hat/scarf and a decoration for the tree.

For daughters stocking she will get:
    Chocolate Santa
    Book
    Satsuma
    Walnuts
    Fancy erasers
    Christmas socks
    Christmas hair accessory

The book in the stocking is a tradition from my childhood. We were allowed to open our stockings when we woke up, as long as it wasn't before 6am, and we weren't allowed to wake our parents till 7am, so the book was to give us something to keep us quiet for an hour.

When our daughter was 2 I started buying her selection boxes and chocolate Santa's, but hubby used to eat her chocolate, so now I have to buy for him too :)

How about one of those 'magic' expandable flannels?
