Is it worth a letter?

We have just got back from a lovely holiday in Cyprus but something has got us abit annoyed.
The day before we left we got a call to ask us if we wanted to change accomadation. We didn't know why, they just said that there had been cancellations at the other hotel and they thought we would like it better.
We had a quick compare of the hotels and there was little to choose between the two but the new one was on the beach whereas the other set back abit so we decided to change,
When we called to say ok, the guy said he had already done it.
When we got to the hotel we were told that we had been down on there list for quite a number of days so our accomadation had been changed withour us knowing.
We had a good time and the hotel was good but we are cross that someone made the decision to move us without us being aware even though we booked well in advance (7 months)
Is it worth writing a letter to complain? Or should we just accept that we had a good holiday which may have worked out for the best and forget about it?
Thanks
Sarah xx

They are just trying to maximise the accommodation that they have already agreed with hotels to pay for, learn from the experience that they can and do get up to trciks for their own benefit.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

To be honest, write a letter to then explaining that you had a lovely holiday but also mention that the hotel should not have been changed.
thank them for the lovely holiday but just say in future please do not change our details without prior agreement? dont make it a letter of compliant, just make it a thankyou letter with a point proven!

Have a good read of the terms and conditions describing changes to accommodation before writing a letter.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
