Brand new showerhead rattles? Normal?

I've just bought a bath mixer tap with shower attachment. The multi function showerhead has a dial for different settings.

On unpacking it I found that he showerhead rattles inside when you shake it, no matter what setting it's on. It was very well packaged and I don't think it's damaged in transit. I think it might be a manufacturing defect or a lack of quality.

The retailer tells me this rattling is perfectly normal and something to do with the different modes or pulsate mode.

Has anyone come across this please?

By the way, I have not installed it yet.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

    Hi

Your retailer could well be right. If it's got the setting I think it has it's like a machine gun burst! Try it ;)
