Hello
I'm a journalist for the Daily Mirror and we're looking in to a number complaints involving British Gas. If it appears the problems are widespread we may look to publicise this more widely.
If you have experienced any problems with BG's Homecare or insurance services (rather than gas or electricity supply) in the last two years please tell about your experiences here.
Have you:
Encountered problems when trying to remove products?
Are the products still on your agreement?
Have you had direct debits taken without notification?
Have you not had your scheduled direct debit payments taken?
Have you tried to cancel your agreement, and been unable to?
Have you called to cancel, only to be offered a discount, but due to system issues discount wasn't applied?
Have you been financially impacted by the new system at British gas?
