Sorry don't know anything about that, like the OP I am surprised they didn't default the account, maybe something to do with the DMP0

This is what the ICO say, but it's only a guideline so banks dont have to agree. But I'm hoping that the FOS will see that I've not been treated fairlyI understood that the I co guidelines say that the number 6 late payment marker can not be used for ever they expect a default to be issued after 6 months or have I miss understood them

Good luck , fos ruled aganst me said I willing entered into the agreement for (by going on d m p )12 years it could be reported as such they quoted a 25 year mortgage is reported for 25 years , I asked what happens if it settled in year 8 was told the ombudsman do not answear question there decision is final,good luck again0 -

Wow, thanks Fermi. I'm not on Twitter, but have just looked at your links. I've had such great advice on here (and from you particularly), but when I receive advice from FOS (and HSBC) it's so contradictory. It really shouldn't be this way, surely it should be black and white.0
