Carer goes free - issue

Afternoon all.
Taking the wife, who is disabled and kids to brands hatch this Sunday, 8 November to watch the racing and fireworks. went to book tickets for adults (kids go free) as does the carer (me). Phoned the helpline to book but as she is disabled I have to book 3 days in advance for the free carer ticket. Obviously out of time for them to post the tickets. They do not offer this service on the gate (all other places I have visited do). Is this indirect discrimination? The rather unhelpful lady on the phone said that this was a senior management decision and I could ask on the gate but not all staff are aware of the change in rules. Any thoughts or ideas as I don't want an argument but want to stand up for our rights. Wife is so excited about going, as are the kids. Thanks Graham

They do not offer what service on the gate? Carer in for free? How is that any different to a normal ticket? I smell bull*hit.
I'd turn up on the day, buy tickets on the gate and then say that you require a ticket for the disability carer. I doubt they'd argue with you on the gate.....0 -
Exactly, they don't offer it on the gate.0

Could you phone and speak to someone else? What if the disabled person was Deaf and didn't have someone to book the tickets for them (I'm thinking taking an agency nurse or something to the display)0
