Just a shout out to let everyone know I wish I hadn't touched these guys. Firstly if there wasn't a penalty for cancelling I would cancel.. (I did know there would be a fee but didn't anticipate my issue). After the policy was accepted I was told I needed to scan /photograph 6-8 documents and send online to the insurance company. There are no postal details. This is to check addresses etc. I have never had to do this in all my years of getting insurance. How many people don't have scanners or digital cameras ?? I don't mind them moving with the times (though there are systems they could check to check my details) but tell us before we commit!

Most people don't have scanners or digital cameras, but most people have phones that will take pictures - particularly if they're familiar enough with technology to buy insurance online.

Most laptops will also have a built in camera.

However, I agree that it should made clear that documents can only be sent online, if they don't already do that.

5 phone calls later and still no documentation. Hoping I am insured but not sure...I sent the documentation on the 5th November and they still haven't processed it despite my insurance going live on 14th November... avoid unless you have plenty of time to chase up.
