Hi All
Hope someone can help, tried downloading music for my 5yr from woolworths, they are in wma format but after managing to burn them to a CD (cant do it through media player as it says copy right issue when there arent any) they wont play on anything other than the Laptop they were burned from. Tried ripping them back to convert them to mp3 format but window doesnt recognise the CD as an audio. Tried to do this on a XP and Vista machine but had no luck. Woolworths tried to offer advice but this was to do the same as the above. Any ideas?

If you have Nero installed, use that to burn an audio CD. I had some similar problems with WMP and decided to leave it alone as far as burning CD's went.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -

Actually there is..
You have to download and have a license to play the files so therefore are restricted to what you can do with them.
Playing the music files
To play your new tracks for the first time you have to be online. Go to your "My Music" folder and click on each of new tracks. This will launch your Windows Media player, activate the tracks and add them to the library in your Windows Media Player
You may see a pop-up window that shows that computer is downloading a small licence file. Your track will start to play as soon as the licence download has completed
After you have activated all your tracks you can disconnect from the Internet, you do not need to be online to play the tracks again or in the future
You may be asked to "Back-up" your licences when you close your media player, we recommend that you always back-up your licences0 -

Tried this as well, initally has the issues because of the copy right but they still wont copy and allow me to rip them back as mp3. Quite new to downloading music have done it before with no issues and managed to get them to play on a CD player but myself and another person are having the same issue with these tracks.0 -

What I am trying to say is that it sounds like the files have copy protection and therefore need to have the associated license file in order to play... Woolworths have different usage rights for different songs
