Hello.
I got my email about Sky "upgrading" my talk options from Anytime UK to Anytime Extra.
I have been checking my account and I pay £5 a month for Anytime UK and from December it goes up to £8 PM. My bill for November/December says £1 extra for line rental and £3 extra for Anytime UK calls.
My email stated that December will be free and then I pay January onwards.
Will I still pay the £5 for December and the £8 for Anytime Extra from Jan onwards or will December be £0 for talk and then £8 from Jan onward?
I have read on here that they upgrade you free for 1 month but maybe the free part is you pay what you were paying and then the price goes up.

Maybe it's just me that found the email misleading.

If you login to MySky and go to upcoming subscription costs you will see that.

It's the upgraded part that is free; not the whole, so £5 allows the extra mobile calls from December 1st.

I think the email mentioned free trial of the upgraded package and not totally free (eligible) calls .

I did say this in my thread.
What would happen if used lots of inclusive calls to mobiles for the free upgrade month and the downgraded to the next call package on 1st January would I not be charged for these?
Just asking as my free Sky broadband ends 1/2/2016 and will be looking at options of changing suppliers and as the free December upgrade wont cost me any extra till my last month of my min term contract.

Yes but what you described didn't make sense. The November/December bill should still see Anytime at £5pm and the line rental an extra £1. The next bill should show the Anytime increase to £8pm.

The next package down also includes mobile calls but just for the evening and weekend. During December mobile calls made during the day would also be free whether you downgraded or not.
