Can anyone help?
I've bought an MP3 player today for my son's birthday (3 weeks time) and thought I'd give it a wee test and see if it works ok.
I have windows XP. The PC is recognising the MP3 player as 'F' Drive which is fine.
However, I cannot seem to get my head around how on earth I start downloading my MP3 files from the PC to the portable player.
I have Winmx but that does not seem to give a transfer option.
This is definitely making me feel old, and I'm feeling exceedingly tired!!!
Many thanks for any help.

My son has one and thats what he does.0 -
That's what I'm struggling with. I can't get the file tree showing both the F Drive (MP3) and my winmx folder files on the same screen so that I can drag and drop.
Any ideas?sassybird0 -
Cant you open My computer first and navigate to the files you want, then leaving that window open, click my computer again and open the drive so you have 2 windows open on the desktop at the same time?
Ive just asked my son and he says this is definitely what he does.0 -

Sassybird I drag and drop mp3 files all the time. Reduce your 'f' drive page to half size. Do the same with the folder that contains the files. Then drag the files from one to the otherI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
It's worked!!
It actually loaded up media player and there it is - a button that says 'copy to CD or Device' and I selected the F drive from there.
I can copy whole playlists this way.
Many thanks for putting me on the right track.
I can now go to sleep without this lot tumbling around my brain like a dryer.
