ive just pulled the false ceiling down in my small flat roofed porch and there are 2 wasp/bee's nests hidden away in there. the ceilings been down for a couple of months now and not seen a single bee/wasp around. Im putting a new ceiling up with spots in, do i knock the old nests down and catch them in a bag or leave them there? been told both remove them, and leave them as they only use them once then never return.. anyone any advice please?

A lot depends on whether they are bees or wasps. If they are honey bees there will be combs of honey possibly left behind? If there are no flying bees or wasps, then get rid of them and make sure they can't re-enterNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

Before you take them down I would spray they with insect killer then leave them for a couple of hours0

wasps do not reuse their nests- they make new ones in a different spot every year so if it is a wasps nest and its not bothering and unoccupied (no wasps coming and going) anything i would just leave it. but cover up any access holes so they don't come back to make a new one.
bees are a different matter though. if it's bees you can ask a beekeeper to take it away which they should be happy to do for free (they would keep the bees, then)0
