Which IPAD?

Looking to buy an Ipad and I am wondering which model to go for. I prefer the bigger screen so would rather not have the Ipad mini.

Do the different models have different features?

If you're looking for a new one, there's a comparison chart on their website, with prices:

For discontinued ones (if you're looking to buy 2nd hand), on Wikipedia:

I have iPad Air 2, we are using it heavily so we have to charge it every day :-). In normal use the battery lasts for couple of days to almost a whole week, but not in my house.

So far it works brilliantly. Before buying it I tested android tabs and they just didn't feel and work the same.
  • I have the iPad Air which is great for me but it depends exactly what you want. If you live anywhere near one or have the chance, go into an Apple store and play around with the ones on display, the staff will answer any questions even if you don't want to buy that day, they're very used to that. If you don't live near one, regular phone shops often have a few on display so it's definitely worth a look.

As this is MSE do what we did nearly two years ago. Buy an iPad 4 on Ebay, under £200 buy warranty on Ebay, £31 job done!
We are very pleased with the iPad, it has never missed a beat, only wi-fi so no roaming but easy to set up wherever we can get wi-fi.

Our I pad 2 has slowed up so much since it was upgraded to the latest ios and it does not matter what the advice offered by the various apple websites it makes no difference. After 3 and a half years a new tablet for us but not Apple who cynicaly issue an ios upgrade that renders their old models usless. Samsung Galaxy S2 here we come.

    I recently purchased IPad Air16gb

Excellent Sky Q t.v.in bedroom-lovely 9.7" screen-wifi-instant recordings from Sky Q silver in living room.

If i'm being honest it's my luxury tech purchase this year, though very simple and enjoyable to use.

There's lots of iPads to choose from including the new very latest pro's.

Cost was a consideration for me hence I consider Air a sensible choice for me.
