Urgent pre-completion house insurance needed.

We exchanged on our first house late this afternoon. I'm now trying to sort insurance as the mortgage requires it from exchange, but I can't find which companies will do this. I assumed they all would but when I went to Allianz via Meerkats, they said they don't cover pre completion. I'm now looking at the AA but can't find anything that says if they do or don't cover this, and it's too late to call and ask. Help!

Contact a local broker (Avoid Swinton).
Stay with them for the year and then you can shop around at renewal0 -
Went with Direct Line as their phone lines were still open so we were able to check they would insure pre-completion. They were very expensive compared to the best quotes I was getting, so I'll probably wait a few days until completed then cancel the DL policy and take out a cheaper one.0
