Hello, This is my first post here. I have had numerous loans and credit cards over the years and think I should try and see if I can claim anything back but I can't remember any details of any accounts, except lenders. I've looked at some of the lenders' sites and am at a loss to know how to start - can I telephone them with my name and addresses, is it as simple as that? Thanks for any help! Kym

You can phone and ask yes, if you have all the dates, old addresses etc they may find stuff from the last 6 years but it would only be data of what you had, nothing more.
Try noddle (free) and the free trials with experian and equifax for details of the last 6 years, before that it's your memory and without records you will struggle to get a complaint as there would be no proofSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
