Lloyds saying no trace of loan

Options
Hope someone can help
Years ago, and I am really talking years as I was 18!!! I had a loan with Lloyds with PPI. I have contacted them to start a claim however they are saying they have no trace of me having a loan

I have given them what I think was my account number of the current account o had at the time however they have now said they were proceed any further unless I can provide evidence of any form of having a loan

I have absolutely nothing as was over 18 years ago

Is there anything I can do?

You can pay £10 for a subject access request, that will show if they do hold any information.
  • Can that go back that far? Any idea what they would need for that (info wise)

If they have no records they can find and you have none then its game over. If you dont believe them then spend £10 and do a DSAR.
