Need a £15 mp3 player.

Hello there,

I would like to buy an mp3 player which is less than £15, there are some in Argos but they have terrible reviews.

I've been looking at Amazon and have comes across one called gNg 8 GB MP3 (wasn't sure I could post a link) which gets really good reviews but was wondering if there are any better alternatives.

This is not for me, I'm buying it for someone else and they have a strict maximum budget of £15.

The review ratio for the gNg seem to be better than for the hcctoo as out of 39 reviews only 1 is 1 star while the latter has 12 one star reviews out of 71.

Hi,

if buying from Tesco, and have Clubcard vouchers, Clubcard Boost is on just now so you could double the value.

So you could save on your £15 spend, or look at the neat Sandisk Clip.

The £12 mp3 player from Tesco seems to be the same one from Argos with it's issues.

Buying a cheap phone is a really good idea but the Samsung you linked can't really be used as an mp3 player because it has 64MB of storage and no slots for expansion cards.

Like you said, I'm currently looking at others.

It only has about 64MB of memory (And I think only 32MB is usable!), and no slot to put more in

As an MP3 player, its pretty bad

I only realised after I had posted that you had already replied. Sorry

For info though, I have done my own research and am currently awaiting delivery of a RUIZU X02 that's apparently as good as it gets for the price (Time will tell on that)
