We've just had a double socket installed with integral USB charging points.
It is rated at 2.1A - 5V
Some of our plug in chargers are rated at less amps
Amazon = 0.85A
Lenovo = 2.0A
We charge the flowing:-
Huawei Ascend G300 phone
Nexus 4 phone
Kindle Keyboard
Kindle Fire HD
Lenovo Yoga 10 (tablet)
Does it matter putting 2.1A into the Kindle Keyboard which was supplied with the 0.85A charger??

The charging point gives you its maximum capacity. The device you plug in will take what it can accommodate. There's nothing* to worry about.
* Unless the device is very poorly designed or has a fault.
