Apart from £32 at the osteopath this morning, I'm aiming for a NSD today - wish me luck, I'm not very good at NSDs......bit like trying to lose weight, I start the day off well, but by mid-afternoon it's all gone (big) belly up!!0

I'd like to have a no spend day today but it's payday so that aint gonna happen. I've got to pay the phone bill because i'm about £17 short with what i've paid on my payment card (must have chatted too long to someone somewhere) and my family are starting to call me Old Mother Hubbard which is a hint to go shopping. Trying to work on £25 for the week for 3 of us and the dog though so thats not bad. Managed to save £11 in my change jar though so thats bread and milk money for the next 2 weeks.0

My weekly budget is £100 and in my first week of "proper" money saving am a fiver under so happy me, well, technically I am hungover but still happy! That £100 has included 2 big nights out (3 if you count friends housewarming bash tomorrow which is basically free!!!), all groceries, much coffee and paying for a speed dating ticket. Yep, I know its a lot more than some peoples budget but it's all relative and, trust me, it's a shed load less than I usually spend in a week (London living and City working for you!). Can go to cash point again on Sunday morning!!
Happy Bank Holiday weekend all!
I could work you out a budget and you could donate the rest to me

Well I'm going to my mother's at lunch time for a freebie haircut so hopefully I can blag my lunch too (my dad makes the BEST french toast (eggy bread) in the world so I'll put my sweet hungry daughter look on).
OH and I are going for a walk up at Rothbury tonight so will probably need to put some petrol in the car but hopefully an LSD (um, LOW spend day... nothing sinister!).0 -
Doing the shopping at Mr Tesco's house - budget is £70 for 5 of us, then I've got to pay the electric bill £93:mad: and get the money out for the plumber £300 just in case by some incredible fluke he actually happens to finish today:rolleyes: So all in it will be a max of £463. :eek:Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

Morning PaP - and moozie, and everyone else :hello: :hello:
Well, I'm stuck indoors again working? on computer, so I should not spend much if anything today. Probably be spending too much time on DFW.
My mobile bill has arrived - £8.50  will probably pay tomorrow as can't afford it today.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
