Hi,
We are looking for a new kitchen and been round to Bauformat - Burger Kitchen and Nobilia Kitchen.
Does anyone know of what their quality is like and which is better?
Thanks,
W. Mostafa

Both are very entry level German brands and there is nothing between the quality. Unless you are getting it for a really good price, stay clear or look elsewhere. We’ve had to remove your signature. Hi Ryder,
thanks for your reply, i am looking for a kitchen that will last for +15 years so what German brands can provide this quality?0 -
In fairness Nobilia and Bauformat will last 15 years but what you will find restricting is the range of finishes/sizes may be smaller and materials/quality of components not as good as it could be.
This in itself is not a problem if the kitchen you get is at the right price. Being a German product, there is every possibility that it gets pitched to you as a premium product (which it isnt) at a premium price (Homebase do this with Nobilia). If you pay the premium price, you can buy better quality/specification products.
PM me if this doesnt make sense. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
So what are the better German bands to look out for please? Or indeed British.
I've looked at Mastercare and Mereway brochures (amongst others) and like their ranges, likewise, I've liked some PWS Remo, 1909, Bauformat and Burger.0 -
