Another day another headache. Settled on a surveyor and they should be giving a call tomorrow to book the survey. Regarding the asbestos, I got a message, a letter, from the solicitor saying "You are advised that speak with the Estate Agents to see if they can arrange for a specialist contractor to investigate matters further".

I called for clarity, asking if this is in addition to the survey I instructed and she said yes. Asked her who will be putting up the cost to this and she said the seller. Fair enough, but I don't feel comfortable instructing the estate agent to do this. Surley this is the job of the solicitors no?
