    If you aren't sure of your situation, go to the CAB. Hopefully they'll be able to explain the situation to you.

    The even more important thing behind what the HBO was saying was you need to accept the house on the day you move in. If you accept it before you move in, you will get less LHA as it depends on when you accept, not when you move in if the two dates are different.

    You will be paid your full LHA rate even if you only receive partial HB.

    That is the important bit - at least you get full LHA not just partial (so effectively your normal contribution that month is covered).
