I've recently received a letter from Citifinancial saying that I needed to reply to a letter regarding a PPI claim. They reviewed my case and owe me £4041. Fantastic. Sent the letter back on the same day. I figured allow a week for second class post and give a month to allow for the cheque to arrive. So, after waiting almost a month no cheque. I've tried contacting them by phone to get through to a call centre worker who couldn't transfer me, give me a number or any means of contacting the claims department. Looked at the paper work and nothing.
I'm not sure what to do next?
Is it worth writing to the address with a recorded delivered letter first and then wait and see. Or should I go to the Ombudsman?
Does anyone have any details to contact them?

You won your complaint. Why would you go to the FOS?
It can take 4-8 weeks after the letter for the funds to arrive.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
As above, allow up to eight weeks before you go to the Ombudsman. Citi usually pay out four weeks after receiving the acceptance form, so the cheque should arrive soon. If it doesn't you can email them, address on their website.0
