PCM UK (again)

  • you can do this two ways

if you insist that the ticket was not placed on the car or handed to the driver , the NTK has to be delivered within 14 days

if you accept that by handing you the ticket they acted correctly , the NTK should be delivered between day 28 and day 56 ,

so play it either way , they loose and cannot rely on POFa 2012 , and need to chase the (un named) driver

So I can appeal and just say as the ticket was handed to me (a passenger) then it's invalid?
Are you the keeper at the DVLA? You need to wait for the NTK, will that come to you?
So three weeks ago now we drew up to this aforementioned entrance when I saw a woman in a black coat using her phone to take a picture of the car. I thought that this maybe one of the PCM operators, later confirmed. I got out of the passenger side to ask her why she was taking a picture of the car, only reply ‘This is a closed’ road. Asked her to stop taking pictures, no reply. Asked her to delete the pictures she’d just taken, reply was ‘I don’t know’. Apparent then that she was from PCM UK.
Typical unprofessional rubbish from PCM. A credit to the IPC knuckle dragging ex-clamper brigade (which PCM are).

No point in second appeal stage to the IAS because they'll expect you to prove the negative that you were 'not driving'. But you can appeal to PCM and point out what you've said so far, but only when you get the NTK. Then ignore the threatograms.
To this date we’ve received no NTK, this maybe because an actual ticket was issued, not to the driver I might add, so need some advice on that.

So you must wait, then appeal as keeper.

I'm not the keeper at the DVLA.

I don't want to let the time slip by for the appeal, pretty close to it now.

I thought you were past the 21 days to appeal now? Or do PCM allow 28 (not all IPC firms do).

With them it's 28 days. Put the appeal in and waiting to hear back.

OK so send the template and get on with your life, ignoring the debt collector letters in the long term, and referring back to the NEWBIES thread but post #3 of it, when PCM 'offer' you IAS. Because you do not want to try IAS and you need to know your options, whcih are in the NEWBIES thread as links.
