I have used Swinton insurance for the past 6 years.Only 2 installments i missed. They passed customer details to Police who are on commission to catch drivers wise versus agreement with magistrates! for the sake of only £49.93 end up paying £250+6 points. They could have informed me with a registered letter costing 55pence.

And you could have hit my car whilst uninsured.
£250 is a pittance - should be £1K minimum for driving w/o insurance, car crushed and a good flogging to boot!
If anything knowing Swinton grass-up uninsured drivers to the cops would make me more likely to use them.0 -
I totally agree with Ian.
The law isn't strong enough when concerning uninsured drivers.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
insurance companies, mot stations and dvla are linked with the police computer. you were driving uninsured. by the way no mot is up to a £1000 fine and lots of lovely points on your licence
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -

Firstly it is your responsibility to ensure that instalments are paid. Missing one is understandable - missing two is careless in the extreme.
Secondly, I am certain that they will have chased you for payment with 1 or 2 letters. Then when no response was received they would have issued a formal cancellation letter - in accordance with the policy wording, which will contain a non-payment cancellation condition.
To be blunt, I have no sympathy for you.0 -
well with endsleigh you can tell them you aren't renewing but they renew for you anyway luckily i cancelled the direct debit and now they are chasing me for £50 they can !!!!!! off!0
