I've received a quote for the installation of two uPVC doors. The total quote comes to £3,150 including fitting and is for.
Replacement of a drafty set of existing set French doors with light oak coloured uPVC doors.
Replacement of a wooden back door with a light oak uPVC door, the bottom half of which would be solid and the top half a single frosted window.
The doors and installation come with a 10 year insurance back guarantee, glass 15 years guarantee and the energy efficiency rating is A+ for both doors.
The company are a which? Recommended supplier and have fitted doors for a friend of mine who was very pleased with the work.
Does this quote sound reasonable?

agree
As part of a 6 window install I got a set of large UPVC french doors installed, including the widening of the opening (it was a single door with 2 side windows) for £1000.
for fitting without the labour on the opening I would be looking for under £2k0 -
I would say 2-2.5 k with Rockdoor instead uf upvc doorif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0

Highly inflated price. Ok oak is about 40% more than white but still seems extremely high.

unless there is a lot of mess to make good . about a grand overpriced . Oak is nice but not that much more expensive to hike the price. Even London:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

Well over priced, the A+ rating on both doors would also have to be questioned, not possible in my book, typical sales hype.0
