Printer with compatible cartridges

Hi, I have to replace my printer, and I am trying to choose one that I can get compatible cartridges for... but there is so many printers to choose from.
Has anyone bought a recent printer that can use compatible cartridges or are refillable.
It would not be used too much, but I would like it to be used over wifi and able to print the odd picture.
Any advice would be really appreciated.

THANKS

A few months ago, I also bought an Epson (SX420) all in one printer, scanner and copier, and recently purchased a set of 4 compatible cartridges, priced at £3.59 including delivery, which you can buy individually or in multiple packs, (obviously, the more you buy the cheaper it works out in the long term).

I only bought one pack, as I wanted to test the product / company out first. Touch wood, they're working perfectly fine so far, no problems.

buy your ink online of ebay save yourself a fortune - Manufacturers dont recommend using no genuine inks but to be honest they work a treat if your looking for cheap printing solution. you can but an epson 315 for around £40 on ebay then buy some none genuine inks for about £6 for that you buy like 4 black, a 3 of each colour. or you can just buy genuine for £20+ lol
  • If you're looking to print just text, why not go for a cheap mono laser, and get compatibles from amazon?

I bought an XP-225 like GunJack to replace an SX200 I'd had for ages but which started playing up. My choice was based on what was being offered cheap at the time together with a check that compatible cartridges were cheap and readily available.
  • Just bought an Epson XP325 and happy with it. also ordered some compatibles cartridges. Got my printer from Argos as I wanted it quickly and had a voucher but there's some offers about. Easy to set up and so far all good.

The vast majority of questions on here are duplicates or the answer is readily available on google. My advice - live with it.

Alternatively, the HP monthly deal can work out.
I pay £23.88 a year for 50 prints a month - less than the cost of a set of genuine cartridges, which suits my useage fine :)

I'd definitely look into an Epson, I've never had any trouble with any of the non-genuine inks and they're a lot cheaper than genuine inks. (I can't remember the exact model of mine and am not by it right now to check)
