in Credit cards
hi all,
my aim is to clear my credit card balance before my 0% finishes this time next year, balance is 1.3k @ £100 per month payments. However, looking into possibly using my card next year for nursery fee's and then BT'ing the balance to another 0% card. When would you consider applying for a BT? the month before the 0% ends? or in advance in case of rejection? i would be possibly transferring £1.5k.
My credit history has ony 1 late payment thanks to Orange/EE in 2013: apart from that it's all up to date. I do currently have HP on a car, and my phone on contract as my other financial liabilities. is a £1.5k BT card relatively easier to get than a bigger limit, or do they not look at the balance, but rather the applicant?
Can you say no to a card once been accepted if im not happy with the limit?

If they take CC payments would it not be wiser to apply for a spending 0% card and save on BT fees?
You can, but this doesn't delete the credit search in your credit history, so it's better to take advantage of whatever limit you get, then apply for another card if needed. Can you say no to a card once been accepted if im not happy with the limit?0
