Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me who to contact for cardholder repayment protection and lifestyle protect reclaiming for an old citicard account. I tried phoning and they said my account would be with Opus but after phoning them Opus told me my account never transferred to them and get back in touch with cit. I am just going round in circles but want to try and get this money paid back if possible. Also had loads of late payment and overlimit fees . Can these be claimed back.

It will be Opus. Citi jettisoned the whole portfolio.
It may not be easy for them to find though and could have been deleted from their systems, depending on the age of the account.0 -
My account finished with citi before opus took over but i was told my credit card account would have still gone to them for payments. Confused. Somebody is accountable but probably don't want to pay out. i have a statement with 2007 on it so not mega old.0

They'll pay out if there is a case for mis-selling, but you need to get Opus to find the account first.
You could gamble £10 on a SAR but it may turn up nothing.0 -
from my understanding it can only be Opus that you need to chase.0
