Bought the premier Insurance package which includes Home Emergency cover. Water leak from bathroom into electrics = no lights/sockets/cooker. After 3 and a half hours and no promised response finally admitted unable to get any progress and likely to be unable to help that day. Not what I would describe as "emergency" cover. Phone calls to JL today resulting in promised return calls have produced zero response.
If anyone is thinking of buying JL's Premier cover I would save your money!

To be fair to JL, although they're ultimately responsible for you as a customer, it will be the actual insurer or another company who provides the emergency cover.
I had a similar experience with eSure, who use DAS as their emergency cover provider. Needed a plumber, still no sign after 8 hours of chasing, so in the end called our own out the next day and they repaid the bill in full.0
