We are launching a competition for children aged 12 and under to design the Force's corporate Christmas card. All entries must be hand drawn and fit the theme of 'staying safe at Christmas'.
The winner - in addition to seeing their design on the front of the Christmas card - will also win a tour of West Yorkshire Police's Carr Gate complex. Subject to any operational requirements on the day, they will have the opportunity to see the National Police Air Service helicopter, the horses in the Mounted Section and the firearms and public order training areas.
Entries can be submitted via the online form, Tweeting (using the hashtag #WYPChristmasCard) or by post.
All eligible entries will be published in a photo album on the West Yorkshire Police Facebook page on Friday, 20 November. The winner will be the design with the most 'likes' by Wednesday, 25 November. The winner will be announced on Friday, 27 November.
