Leisure World Southampton - Parking Eye

Hi,
I have received a parking fine from Parking eye for parking in the Leisure World car park in Southampton. I was parked for just under 1 hour while my family (wife/daughter) visited Frankie & Benny's inside the complex. I was unaware of a parking validation machine as i never saw a sign for one or the actual machine (which i now know is in the Odeon cinema foyer).
From reading this great forum and a glance over the Sticky on appealing the fine. I know i have to start by appealing to Parking Eye themselves. My question is :- Do i go about trying to get any proof that i visited Frankie & Bennys and didn't leave leisure World?
or just start the appeal to parking Eye
many thanks in advance for any advice

appeal it anyway with the template letter
also try to get it cancelled by the businesses you visited (or the landowner)0 -

Yes use the template but also, you should include receipts but be careful only to call yourself the registered keeper. So it is 'the receipt of one of the occupants of the car'. Not 'here is my receipt'. Do this appeal online but not yet, only after the Beavis decision on Weds - come back here and see if anything useful is said by the Judges.
If this goes to POPLA stage, your first appeal point as the keeper will be that Leisure World is part of West Quay which is not relevant land so as keeper, you cannot be liable. Then add for good measure the flaws with the PCN which are covered in the other threads with new example POPLA appeals as linked in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.
But with a receipt you may not need POPLA stage justy be careful to stay in 'keeper mode' only.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Many thanks for the advice people.
The date of the letter/issue is 27/10/2015 so i still have quite a few days left to appeal. I take it i can ignore the 14 days discounted date as i am appealing?
I don't have the receipt for my meal at Frankie & Benny's but was thinking of going there tomorrow and seeing if i can get one.Not sure what they will say.
I will wait as advised for the ruling on Wednesday to see if there are any changes to an appeal letter.0
