How easy is paying extra on 0% balance transfer cards?

in Credit cards
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I cannot find any info about how 0% balance transfer credit cards are actually paid off, just a worrying aside that MBNA cards do not allow monthly payments to be varied.
How do these cards take payment? Direct debit? Other?
Want to transfer £3700 credit card debt (on a single card) to a 0% one. I can now afford just above the minimum, but will start having spare cash in a few months time.
I assumed I could pay extra when I have the spare cash, and that it would be sensible to do so. Is that correct?

Very easy. Just make payments in whatever format best suits you - faster payments through your bank, standing orders, cheques, cash, [STRIKE]sexual favours[/STRIKE].
Set up a DD with MBNA for the min payment and then pay on top of that when you want.0 -
MBNA would have provided an account number and reference (usually your CC number) to use when paying off the CC - just use this info as zx81 has suggested to make payments whenever you want.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
