Hi all.
I received my Yorkshire Bank Gold Mastercard recently but am surprised to find that there is no option to view the balance online unless I have internet banking with another Yorkshire Bank product.
As I like to keep on top of all my spending every week or so this seems a very out of date policy. I can't remember having a CC over the last 6-7 years at least which fails to offer the ability to at least view the balance online.
Do others find this surprising, or are there many other CC's which do not offer this and I have just been lucky so far?

• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

I found it strange but there is a freephone automated service that tells you current balance and amount available. It's not as good but I got used to it.0
