I haven't got mine yet, got to wait until Friday, so I'm not entirely sure. To me it looks like you have to buy the traffic module (Cat no 504/0113) but the subcription is free

is that the same with all the navmans?

Yes, Navman traffic module costs money but says it has lifetime subscription.

Just got one!! Thanks so much, you have saved me a fortune!!! It comes with an in-car charger and windscreen mount too, which I don't think the F20 does, and Europe maps on CD. Brilliant! :T :T

Anyone know if the traffice module's any good with this one?
The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

The F20 does come with in-car charger and windscreen mount. What it doesn't come with is a USB cable or transfer kit for your PC. Also, Europe maps are worth quite a bit, so that is an excellent bonus on the N40i.

The digital camera feature is listed as pretty lame though by reviewers, as it's a bit pointless (i.e. who navigates by using pictures?).

I've just got one too from horsham in west sussex!!! :j

I asked to look at it first because when I came to buy it on the self serve machine it stated that it was not covered on the 30 day money back offer and I was worried that if I got the F20 then I wouldn't be able to return it.

As soon as I saw the N40i on the box, I said I'll have it and the sales guy just put it in a bag and gave it to the check out person.

    Thanks OP!!!

I'm getting mine on Friday, think I'm gonna get the traffic thing too. £60 isn't bad for a lifetime subscription.

Please let us know how the traffic kit quality is. I'd love to have an accurate, up to date traffic-based navigation system.
  • I got one of these and have added the traffic add on seems to work well picks you the signal really easily, only problem with it is it must be plug in to the power all the time, it does not use the sat nav battery.
