Sorry for sounding doubtful. :) Seems to have leapt up during the 3rd week of October and I'd missed it. Then again I won't be travelling again until February so I wasn't paying close attention.

Hmm. Seems to be using Thursday 5th as the default (and currently the most recent you're able to select) settlement date. Perhaps the numbers quoted are always a day behind and it might have gone down a tiny bit in the subsequent 24 hours...? Nevertheless, that's what they're currently listing :)

No probs, with so much choice on the market it can be difficult to keep a handle on all the options. But it's always good to try and make sure you're getting the best bang for your buck (or Euro, GBP, etc etc...) ;)

    some interesting stuff here..

i am stoozing, and don't really want to complicate my file further with an 'overseas purchase' card.. happy to have my cards based around UK spending, and take cash abroad. and as above, some of the places we go are very much the 'cash is king' venues.

where else would folks here go to purchase US$ rather than M&S?

and does anyone know whether M&SFX accept Amex?
