Boots Blue Lens miss selling

Options
Just read an article regarding Boots opticians miss selling of blue tint on lenses. At the beginning of this year I bought two pairs of glasses and was advised to go for this at an additional cost of £70 per pair.
Any one know if I am entitled to a refund and if so how do I claim.

Regards Steve

I believe the ASA ruling does mention misleading advertising, but it is open to debate whether this amounts to miss-selling in your particular case.

If you believe you were miss-sold anything then your first complaint should be to the seller.

Isnt this to do with some kind of filter to aid in blocking blue light as emitted from electronic device screens which it has been suggested, could cause eye issues especially in young children?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Its intresting with all these coatings that their is not lots of evidence that kids who don't wear specatcles at all are suffering badly.

I think there is a weight of evidence gathering which suggests that when young children spend more time outside rather than inside/looking at tv or screens, they are less susceptible to later developing eye issues such as long/shortsightedness..
