Tesco card delivery

Could anyone who has recently got a Tesco credit card tell me if the card is sent by special delivery guaranteed? I got a Royal Mail sorry we missed you card and I wondered if it was my card as I am expecting this. I want to use it on a purchase as soon as possible so will collect Monday morning, if not will wait til sat (sorting office mile from me and mainly open when I am at work so have to make a special trip).

I'd be surprised if they sent it RMSD, i've had credit and debit cards from a range of companies and they all generally just post 1st class.

Tesco sends all credit cards by special delivery, but not debit or savings cards. I received the latest one 2 weeks ago. It is the only financial institution I know which does this.

As I've received 3 cards from them, they've spent about £18 sending cards to me. I've only used them for 0% purchases and fee-free 0% balance transfers and as a clubcard in petrol stations, so they haven't made a penny from me.

Thank you so much! I got my pin a few days ago so makes sense it is the credit card. Yeah I've never had a credit or debit card sent by special delivery before. It's really annoying as now I have to make a special trip (bus and 15 walk) about 7am tomorrow morning to collect it. I wish they had informed me this was the case, and there is nowhere I can find on their website that mentions this.

Haha! I've got it just to take advantage of the long interest free credit period.
