Help needed from novice

Hi - Can anyone help me. I have been clearing out files from my computer and found a folder Quarantine. This has loads of .bup files in it. Is it safe to delete them all or is it relevant to something else.

Yes, it's safe to delete. It's a folder where your antivirus software sticks infected files.

If you're wanting to free up some more space and the PC is running fine, go to "My Computer", right click on the C drive and select Properties. Select Disk Cleanup, Options then click the button in the System Restore section which will delete all but the last System Restore point.

The last PC I did this on free'd up 1GB which on a 5GB HDD, was fairly substantial.

After doing that, run CCleaner. (https://www.ccleaner.com)

Wow, thank you for that!! Just cleaned up my restore points, and freed up 2.09Gb !! :T
