    Helen - the trains sould be running a fairly normal service on Christmas Eve up until late evening but it does depend on the different train companies.

    Hey I have 4 I'm happy to loan 1 or 2 out lol I'm sure they would be thrilled ;)
    Alternatively offer to childmind for friends, nieces, nephews or the such like lol.

    Thank you for this op. My littlest DS is almost too old to go to see Father Christmas now - he says ;) so this will be an extra special visit for him to remember.

    Wow
    My parents used to take 4 of us to London every year at Xmas to see the lights, windows at Hamleys and Selfridges and Harrods Xmas grottos. I really dont know how they did it. I am going to take my daughter (4) but am already thinking oh my god all those people, can i take a push chair on the underground in case she gets tired!????

    This is really fantastic, just booked for 21/12/07. My daughters friends jet off to lapland for xmas (I know, I know!) so at least we can have a little bit a magic, she is still only 4!! Thank you for giving me a little bit less to worry about!!
