Narrow porch, walls getting scuffed by bags etc

So we have just had our lounge decorated. It looks amazing am very pleased. As part of it we had our porch decorated (wall paper stripped, artex removed, painted off white) it's a really small space - approx 1m X 1.5m (useless space apart from keeping the draft out)
We didn't really think about what we wanted to do with the space but it's clear it can't stay white. As you walk in and out its so easy to brush bags up against the wall and we are about to have a baby so am sure we will knock the wall bringing the buggy in and out.

Anywho trying to think of creative ideas. Do we put kitchen/bathroom paint on it, wall paper..? I'm a bit stuck

Anything but white - essentially! Every mark will show.

Wipeable paint or paper and regular refreshes.

You could line the wall with v lining which can either be painted or white washed... Gives you a much more durable wall if its going to get knocked
