Hello
I did do a search and couldn't find any other threads that could help.
Hubby and I have a budget of about £200 to have a lovely romantic weekend as a belated anniversary weekend!
Looking in North Devon - like Woolacombe / Ilfracombe
Thanks in advance x Alison x:j

www.brend-hotels.co.uk have a selection including Saunton Sands Hotel overlooking the beach towards Taw/Torridge estuary. I don't think there is anything in Woolacombe or Ilfracombe approaching luxury.
Alternatively you could try www.commodore-instow.co.uk/ overlooks the estuary towards Appledore smaller than Saunton Sands but great position.0 -
Have you stayed at the Saunton Sands? As there are mixed reviews on tripadvisor - Thanks for the commodore link - looks lovely. May be a bit over our budget but I will email them and see if they can do me a deal - ha ha.
Many Thanks

Have you looked at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel? I've not stayed there but I have a couple of friends who have and who have enjoyed it.

We really enjoy going to Woolacombe and this hotel is in the town and very close to the beach.
Have a good time0 -
Thanks yep this looks lovely but is costing more than £200 for the 2 of us for the weekend. Many Thanks x:heart2:Mum to my little Daisy 3 and Archie 1.:heart2:0

Watersmeet Woolacombe
Woolacombe Bay Hotel, already mentioned.
Others, but not exactly in the location you're after
Hewitts at Lynton.
Northcote Manor
Yeoldon House
Edit: Just noticed your budget - is that per person, per night?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

OK - then perhaps consider Kittiwell House at Croyde Bay
I have to admit that it's been about 15 years since I stayed there, but it has the "WOW" factor
Wherever you go, good luck

Sorry about delay replying. No we haven't stayed at Saunton Sands as usually stay with relatives in N Devon. Mentioned these two as they have the best positions/views/star ratings we know of in the area.0
