Is the Chromecast 2 to any good?

Looking to stream Youtube on my TV from my mobile when I get home from work and can't be bothered going on the desktop, Chromecast 2 looks good for that.

Can anyone recommend or say what services they find it is best for?

Can't comment on the Chromecast 2, but have two orginal ones.

Use them to cast netflix, Iplayer, Now TV, videos stored on laptop using Plex & Youtube occasionally.
Have found them very usable, good value for money, unobtrusive(already have too many boxes under the TV.

I concur and mostly use mine to cast local content on my PC using the videostream chrome app. Best £30 I ever spent as I use it daily.
