These centres usually get the paramedics out in emergencies rather than the police so I would suggest there was a succession of events that perhaps even the OP is not clear about.
That doesn't explain why it was four hours before entry was made into the house.
I've got experience of how these alarms work and would have been shocked if it had ever taken half an hour to get into a neighbour's or family member's property after the button had been pressed.0 -

Exactly how I feel. What is the point of these things if you are left for 4 hours after calling for help. People subscribe to these services to give them peace of mind but this wouldn't be what I was expecting.Sell £1500
