Housing Benefit-Did everyone know about this?

Further to my query on another thread from earlier today i thought i'd research what exactly was happening with my housing benefit as i was concerned i was getting paid too much
Having not claimed HB for many years i was unaware of Local Housing allowances.
This link might explain why im receiving more HB than the rent i am paying.
Any thoughts?

If i had known about this last year i might have tried to claim some HB when my partner changed to part time work. Didnt bother claiming because i doubted i would receive hardly anything for all the hassle involved in making a claim as i was in full time work.
I had no idea that this had come into force.0 -
It is still income based, so you would have received very little (if any at all) when one of you was in full time employment.Gone ... or have I?0
