I just tried to get an £80 hamper reduced to £40.
The website said you can get an additional 30% off which will be applied at the checkout.
It was still £40 at the checkout as the discount is applied to the original price.
So, it's a 50% discount (up to) and not plus extra 20% off at checkout.0 -
I bought one of these last year for a friend who was very grateful but is also a bit like Sheldon of TBBT. He wanted to know how much i had spent so he could compare against the present he bought me. On a rough calculation the contents in a £80 hamper (discounted to £40) should cost around £15-17. That means the hamper on its own would cost £23 - you can by them in B&M for around a fiver. I would be really hacked off if i had bought the hamper at full price!0

Not any more no. When the post was originally posted on 30/10, that was a deal being offered (it definitely worked then as I got a couple). On 9th Nov it was then 24% off rather than 20%. BHS often run daily deals with extra %'s off everything so the extra discount will be whatever the deal is on that day (if there are any floating about).0 -

:eek::eek::eek:
I've bought 3 this year. Contemplating asking the people I am giving them to to return the hampers to me, and I can re-fill them myself next year it would seem for far less than what they cost me, even at a reduced rate ...;)Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
