I did wonder during the recent slide in fund prices just how legal it would be to switch my ISA funds held with H-L into cash pending a deal and then sit it out until things levelled out.
Is this feasible/allowable under ISA rules?"Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -
if a cash option is available, you can use it. The limitation is with the provider not the rules.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). It's perfectly legal, Liz, and certainly allowed by HL. Just remember that any interest on cash held in an equity ISA is taxed.0
