Why do you assume that anyone in council property must watch JK?
Indeed. With digital TV these days, not to mention pay-for channels, there are many aternatives.
  • 1) Unless the council has a scheme for compensation.., you won't get any.
    2) Council rents right now are often half of private tenancy rents. This means they have less money for things like compensation schemes.

So no.., you won't get any compensation.

Believe you me.., living in social housing - at least you get some repairs albeit unpredictably. Try paying twice the rent and having a LL say they'll do x repair, but it never happens. It should make you feel less hard done by lol.

The possibility of compensation I don't agree with...if that is what op is looking for...but I disagree that it's a free repair. Op pays their rent...direct or indirect, therefore entitled to repair.

I drew a correlation that all JK guests derive from social housing. Thankfully I'm too busy working to fund those who wish to recklessly fornicate with neighbours, sisters friends and anyone else who avoid the dentist.
