  • Just had a nice bath ready for going out tonight (it's my day off so I'm taking grandad to see spectre). UU a few little bits.

Montagne jeunesse strawberry souffl! face mask- WBA I liked the scent of this and my face feels a lot fresher and softer.

H&M strawberry natural volume hair mask sachet - WBA this smelled nice and left my hair feeling really clean and softer. Have a few more of these sachets stashed away.

Ted baker ted in a tub bath crystals - WBA but I doubt still available, this was from an older gift set I think. Made my bath smell nice. I used them with a bit of ted baker bath foam.

cussons mum & me bath soak mini - WBA no idea where I got this from (I'm not a mum!! Which it's aimed at) but nevertheless it had a really nice clean scent and made good bubbles. I'd get a bigger bottle if I found one.

UU - Benefit Foamingly Clean Facial Wash - WNBA due to them testing on animals. I think I unfortunately have another one in the stash that I was given as a present. I'm also not sure it does anything... it might do and I just don't notice because I always use it.

Am going to repaint my nails tonight and am going to wear OPI Espresso Your Style with OPI Press * for Silver on my accent fingers with PMW on top.

I did have a couple of INs at weekend. I had pulled a travel sized conditioner from my stash (I only own 3 x travel sized including this one) and it has only lasted me 2 applications - I have the tiniest bit left. Another poster mentioned Frizz Ease so I have bought the conditioner and mask - both are half price at Sainsburys at the mo ladies.

I have a question for Avon ladies. My daughter Emma loves the No 7 lipliner in Nude shade however they have discontinued it. She bought a Mac one to replace it which doesn't show up on her lips as hte liner texture is a lot harder than the No 7 one. The Nude one by No 7 is described by Lisa Eldridge as Pinky brown and I'm thinking of getting her the Avon Glimmesticks inNude to replace it. Anyone tried this one and have any comments on the colour and texture.

Another UU ladies, the conditioner mentioned above has gone. Was a Gilbert and Soames travel sized. Nice enough. Would not rush out to buy a full sized.

I should really repaint my nails tonight as a couple are chipped but have parents evening so may not get chance. Loving this look though. Espresso Your Style is still one of my favourite OPI colours and the new Press * for Silver looks lovely with Pirouette My Whistle on top.

Have placed the Avon order. The lip liner was eligible for a buy 2 for £6. offer. As this was £6.00 alone I ordered a nail colour for Emma too. I have also ordered a body butter as it was an amazing price - Planet Spa 200ml for £5.00. Should usually be £8.00 which is still cheaper than the TBS ones I usually get.
COLAB Sheer Invisible Monaco Dry Shampoo 50ml: No matter how much I shook this or held it at a distance, it still caused grey patched on my hair which is disappointing as the normal version is my HG. WNB this version again.

I really did not get on with the can of Colab that I bought. It was a voumising one and it made my hair feel too stiff like a hairspray. Have swapped it with Emma for the can of Batiste that we previously had.

Woohoo a lip tin UU Vaseline lip therapy aloe vera lip balm whilst I like the actual product I much prefer a tube. looking forward to restocking with some Burt Bees shortly:) Lots more products nearly UU so hoping to get through a few more things before my little shopping trip next month.

I bow down to your greatness lol. I don't think I could use up a tin of Vaseline lip therapy if I tried. I do keep reapplying the EOS one at night though whilst watching telly.

VALM - I have combination skin which is prone to congestion. It isn't particularly sensitive i.e. it doesn't burn or go red easily. The Glamglow mask that I just used was the one in the white jar and I didn't have any reaction to it at all. I do much prefer the one in the black jar though.

I'm an Avon lady and whilst I don't use the lip liners I have customers that buy them regularly and swear by them (they are older ladies using them to stop feathering though).

Thanks for the feedback re: Glamglow and Avon. Maybe I'll look out of Glamglow on the sales as I have a similar skin type to you. Am hopeful that the Glimmerstick is ok when it arrives.

VALM I have used the glamglow mud mask in the black packaging successfully before. I would describe my skin as on the sensitive side, prone to dryness. It was quite tingly. And it had kind of twigs in it... but don't let that put you off.

This UUing is very addicitive. I saw a big botttle of conditioner (poundshop deal I reckon) abandoned in the changing rooms at the pool this morning, with about 4 cms left. All the time I was swimming I was thinking about taking it and using it up, for the satisfaction, because otherwise it might be thrown away! I didn't though.

Thanks for your feedback re: Glamglow. Is it sad that I'm putting together a wish list for the Jan sales?

I know what you mean re: the UU addiction too. I am forever picking up Emma and Dave's products that they have abandoned as "UUs" when there is still loads in if they were only to bother sawing the bottles in half!

Not to enable but M&S Advent Calendar is available (sold out online though) and it looks good. I went to store and looked at it but didn't purchase.

Oh no, it's back in stock online. Must not look.

Finally, I have 2 more UUs to report:-

15ml L'Occitane foot cream. I am really bad at applying foot cream to my feet but most nights MrM will prop his feet up on me whilst watching telly and I'll massage cream into his feet (love, eh?). This mini tube only lasted two nights. I have another mini tube in stash and then that is it for designated foot cream. He does love this L'Occitane one though so I'll get him a full sized tube for his birthday at the beginning of December. For now he will have to make do with body lotions. I have previously used hand cream on his feet but don't want to use my Liz Earle Superskin serum on his feet. I think I am in love with this product. I don't like the smell but can even get over that due to the result I get from it. Leaves my skin feeling so nourished. Think I'll switch to this for Winter time use.

30ml LE IBST. HG product. Have a 200ml in stock that I will keep decanting into this 30ml spritzer bottle until it is UU.

1 IN - Holland Barrett / Dr. Organic Lavender Body Lotion. I find it difficult to sleep nowadays and was told lavender might help to relax. The best option is a lotion for me as I don't have an oil burner.

Do you have a bath? I was advised to add a few drops of lavender essential oil to my bath water when going through and incredibly stressful time - it did help.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

  • 2 UU this evening...

Sanctuary fresh faced purifying wash - WBA I like the scent of this and the way it lathers up to a nice foam. My face always feels soft and clean when I've used this. Got another stashed away but got bomb cosmetics one to use first.

Avon Egyptian secrets water lily hand and foot cream - WBA this has a pleasant fragrance and is a wonderfully rich cream that has been a godsend when my feet or hands were really dry. When I massage it into my feet my hands end up lovely and soft too (mainly used it on my feet). This stuff is super thick, so a little goes a long way!! Don't think it's still available but will look out for it anyway, it's good stuff and I would like to get another if I can.
