No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries November 2015...

Used up a few little bits in my bath tonight. UU 2x little sachets of M&S fruity beauty bath sprinkles, and a purple bath bomb from boots which was part of a gift set. Would buy the set of sprinkles again, have some sachets left in stash.
Also UU the M&S extracts fig & orange oil foam bath 500ml- WBA however I don't think they do this range anymore. i might have a mini bottle of this somewhere from memory that was in a gift pack. I did really like the scent of this but you had to use quite a bit to get lots of bubbles and I like my baths to have a ton of bubbles! I've dug out a bottle of ted baker bath foam to use up before I start on the festive scented ones.
Got quite a few lush and bomb cosmetics bath bombs to get used up before the January sales too, as I always like to do an order as they are so cheap in the sales and last me the year, but mustn't unless I've used the ones I have first!!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Just gone through my little empties bag and have the following UU's.
Sure aloe vera sensitive anti perspirant roll on
Molton Brown suma ginseng body wash
Skin Doctors Ingrow go 120ml
Tommy Girl edt 100ml
Boots oval cosmetic pads 50pads
Now that I'm taking care of myself again I'm starting to go through some of my stash. I emptied a couple of travel bags earlier and found more.. I'll start using some of those items up as some of them are a little aged. Have also found lots of samples so will start using them up before opening more full sized items.
Night everyone.

Welcome back kiplingmonkey! Whilst we're mentioning old friends, I was wondering what had happened to rosemary54. Her last post mentioned that she was doing well with her new venture of wedding flowers and jewellery so hopefully it has continued to do well and she's busy and happy.
I have some of the other former stalwarts of NBUT on FB, so know that all is well with them.
Various bits of L'Oreal trickling in from Am@zon, plus a Rimmel lipstick. Here's what I thought of the lipstick.
UU of my Evershine conditioner. Cut it open and quite impressed, zilch on the plastic-foil interior, enough for one application on my shortish, fine hair lurking in the cap. WIBA? Yes, good product that works well, but not needed for some time, thanks to the Am@zon and Beauty Recommended freebies, plus existing products.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a product that stops 'damp weather frizz?'
I am fed up of going out with my hair freshly straightened and coming back looking like something demented with my hair curling up at right angles to my head.
It's been much worse this year for some reason. The bold is deliberate as I am hoping it catches the eye!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

I do like Frizz Ease from John Frieda and it is a good price.

Forget to tell earlier that I sold a contour palette from Sleek. Was never going to use it. 1 more out.

Just this minute have a UU. My lips feel so parched tonight so I just used my lush scrub to rescue them; wasn't expecting it to be used up tonight but finished it! Slathered on some body shop lip butter just now too so hopefully that will be another UU soon!
Lush bubblegum lip scrub - WBA HG product. Does a fab job without being harsh and I love the flavour! I usually scrub my lips over the sink otherwise you end up with sugar everywhere! I'm gutted this is finished as I'll miss this flavour but I've got 2 others stashed, a Santa cola one and the popcorn one and as they are 'fresh' and might go off I need to use these before I re purchase the bubblegum. Seeing as we are in festive season I've just put out the Santa scrub to use. Another off the pp list yayNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I have a UU:
3/151. Yves Rocher Elixir 7.9 Youth Energy Day Cream 40ml - WNBA, this smelled lovely and fresh but was too rich for my skin - made a great neck cream, however!
I have lots of items coming to the end so hoping for a steady stream of UUs this month - and no INs yet!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
And - I've used Avon Lotus Serum to stop the kinky hair, it doesn't stop it altogether though.
I have a TA of a horrible nude Maybelline Lipstick, this came in a beauty box, I don't like nude colours much anyway but this was the colour of shiny concealer. I think a nude lip colour should resemble the natural lip.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Have 2 more UUs:-
VS conditioner tube that came with latest box of hair colourant. Do love this conditioner. Maybe will have a hunt for it on its own when I run out completely. Not sure if I actually have any left in my stash. Must look tonight.
L'occitane Lavender hand cream. HG product but won't repurchase just yet as I know I have other hand creams in stash. The next one I will open is a LE Superskin one which I'm looking forward to trying.
I have also pulled out a few Revlon lipsticks that I may TA yet. One of them is called Coffee Bean and I can't say I've ever tried it on (came in a set of 9 lipsticks). If I don't like it, it's going.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Considering a TA unless one of you ladies can advise me otherwise ... my favourite Nails Inc 4ml jar has gone all thick and gloopy. It's been open about 2.5 yrs. VALM - would that OPI stuff you mentioned abouts 4 posts up work?
I tip a few drops of nail polish remover into gloopy varnish. then rub between my hands. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but worth a go if you're going to TA anyway.0 -

UUs: Mulbery and fearne shampoo - from a hotel stay years ago.
Hand soap - boring! I've refilled the pump with a shower gel I didn't really like, as I don't have any more hand wash atm
Clarins night 7ml - WMB, but only as part of a good deal
Kneipp perfect bliss poppy and hemp bath salts - I really liked this WB. Came as part of a beauty bag. They turned the bath a nice purple and smelled lovely. The warnings on the pack about staining were slightly alarming.

Not VALM:D, but yes the OPI thinner should be fine. Mavala do one too, which I am currently using and it works fine, depending on where you live, might be easier to find than OPI.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
