Advice for Euro Car Parks Notice

Hi all,
I received a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) charging me £75 as I spent 30 minutes over the allowed 240 minutes at Kew Retail Park, Richmond. I was aware of the allotted parking time and was simply late.
However, how enforceable is this notice? They have scans of my license plate and state the times they were taken. But I have read in several places online that they cannot prove it was me who was driving and I am not obliged to inform them who was driving?
In honesty, I was driving and saw the signs, i just ran late. However £75 seems crazy and I cannot afford this. It seems to be quite ambiguous as to whether I can just ignore it or not, but any advice is greatly appreciated.

What you've read is incorrect (unless this was in Scotland/NI).
Read the 'NEWBIES' sticky thread at the top of the Parking board which will tell you the steps to follow to appeal this.
Surely if you 'can't afford this' you'd make a bit more effort not to run late?0 -
I have just now read the newbies, contains lots of information and a lot to process whilst at work. Thanks for your helpful comment about not running late. I'm sure that'll help me no doubt.0

If your user name is your real name, then edit your post NOW and delete the last paragraph.
I cannot stress how important this is.
DO IT NOW. PPCs read these forums.
When you have done that, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and then appeal as it instructs you using the appeal template.
Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not miss the appeal deadline. Never, ever 'phone a parking scumpany.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
bone up on POFA2012, if they adhere to the rules in POFA2012 then they can certainly try to enforce this against the keeper
also read up on Barry Beavis, who has been to court 3 times in similar circumstances and his Supreme Court judgment will be handed down next wednesday, this may well have a bearing on all private parking cases
edit post #1 so you dont incriminate whoever the driver was
never heard of a no comment interview ?
or do you not think that private parking companies sign up here and read the posts ?0 -

May I suggest you edit your OP to this?0
